My Motive

My Motive

Many of you Cubans might be asking why the hell is Tomas doing this with respect to Cuba? First of all Cubans are really nice people who have been tricked by a master con man, Fidel Castro, and really need help getting out of this mess. In addition, America has really been a disappointment to me. The US has lost it principles upon which we were founded and each year edges closer in the direction of the current Cuban model. What is worse is most Americans are clueless to this fact and do not know any longer what is righteous and moral. Most in the states think everything is just peachy. No - my only hope of living in a truly free country is to help Cuba transform itself into that country rather than hope Americans will find their way again. It will be easier to create a wealthy, prosperous nation in Cuba than to fight an uphill battle in the US. Most Cubans here and on the island already agree with what I propose for Cuba. Lets kick these greedy pirates off the island so we can get busy making the greatest nation of the earth. My hope is Americans will see how well we are doing on the island with this new social/economic model and will demand the same from the American government.

Certainly there are many who absolutely do not want Cuba to prosper. If you want to find out why that is so...follow the money.

Tomas,

I like your sentiment but this sentence is a bit too strong:

"Lets kick these greedy pirates off the island so we can get busy making the greatest nation of the earth."

Maybe it should be worded like this:

"Let's HELP THE CUBAN PEOPLE kick these greedy pirates off the island so we can HELP THEM get busy making the greatest nation of the earth."

I agree with you, Cuba has A LOT of potential and look forward to a free Cuba.

The good ole USA does not want a free Cuba, too much competition, they damn well know the kind of people we are, we could make Cuba great again, that would not bode well for Florida, which we Cubans built up from the ghost town it was becoming, and made it a metropolitan city, leave us alone already, let us do for our country what we did in Florida, and yes Tomas let's kick their greedy asses out of the Island

Fidel and wee Raul have seen the wisdom of private ventures. Why can not the other Cuban enjoy the benefits of free will exchanges? I hope to show Cubans a better way and we're going to need lots of help amigos...

I am going to disagree, I think that America would love to see a free Cuba. It would mean big bucks for American business that could relocate or open up new locations in Cuba and boost the tourism over there. It would be beneficial to the US to see a free Cuba.

As I said many not all Americans want Cuba to do badly. That's the only explanation for Archer Daniel Midland's behavior.
