Let entrepreneurs into Cuba, keep the tax low and watch the economic explosion happen. Whenever there are more jobs than workers the wages and benefits are driven upward. That's because entrepreneurs compete for a limited supply of workers. Those who lose the competition will not be as successful because they can't grow without more laborers. Finally, the first modern society on the planet will be populated by people who are neither slaves to the pharaohs of industry nor government. Cuban workers will have the best job security in the world!

Perhaps Raul has decided to let the storm cull some Cubans so he doesn't have to feed them any more?
Raul don't try to act like this hurricane snuck up on you! It is Friday night and the storm is still a couple day from Cuba and is now a category 4. It will swell to a 4 and maybe grow to a 5. You need to move people from the south of the island now you fool! Don't try to pretend you didn't know after you let thousands of Cubans die from neglect. There is still no official warning in rGranma.
Raul does not give a shit how many Cubans perish, if he did he would release all political prisoners, and feed the Island as well as he feeds himself
