Let entrepreneurs into Cuba, keep the tax low and watch the economic explosion happen. Whenever there are more jobs than workers the wages and benefits are driven upward. That's because entrepreneurs compete for a limited supply of workers. Those who lose the competition will not be as successful because they can't grow without more laborers. Finally, the first modern society on the planet will be populated by people who are neither slaves to the pharaohs of industry nor government. Cuban workers will have the best job security in the world!

I bet it is for you Carl but not the Cuban slaves who work for 50 cents a day in the non tourists areas. That's the vast majority of Cubans that you tourist never see. But our contacts say they want you to come to Cuba because they want to shake you down for as much money as they can. Hopefully you won't be stabbed to death like the Belgian was recently but I can't make any guarantees. Go ahead and take your chances Carl. The Cuban people will never forget you.

I guess Carl realized that Rauls goons read these blogs and he hopes by deleting his negative comments then he can still go to Cuba and not be hassled by the commie regime. But Carl you should never criticize a totalitarian regime then travel there for a vacation.
For those who did not read Carls comments before he deleted them he was saying that Cuba is a swell place even though he had a rotten vacation there the last time and accused me of posting his words out of context. All I did was post the link to his own words which he regrets stating now.
Actually Carl is so scared of the regime that he deleted his blog altogether so you cannot follow the link any more. Don't worry Carl...Raul will never forget you - hell we won't either. As soon as we kick the tyrants out of power we are going for the records and every snobby Canadian like you from Hamilton Ontario will be banned from ever setting foot in Cuba for helping Raul enslave 11 million people with your Canadian dollars.

There you go killing the messenger Carl. I'm just telling people like you that we ARE in contact with the Cuban people and they are tired of working for 50 cents a day. Wouldn't you be? So I've been following what the Cuban people have been doing to tourists like you. They will smile at you and pretend to be your buddy - but they are just looking for the chance to get some of your wealth and ruin your trip. A few years ago maybe not. But now look out buddy! Then I report the truth and you call me goon. But Carl my silly friend - if you want to know what goon behavior is like which the Cuban people have experienced for 48 years and your tourists dollars finance, you simply must go back to Cuba. You see your bad review of Cuba tourism has taken some money out of Raul's pocket and he does not like that. He knows who you are. I won't beat you up or kill you but Raul sure will. He's done that to his own people for 48 years and he'll have no problem seeing to it that you spend some time in a Cuban jail next time at the very least. You should have remained quiet.
