Punish These Evil Bastards

Many thanks to my cousin John for sending me.
I am the great grandson of Don Tomás Estrada-Palma, the first elected President of Cuba (1902-1906). "Where I am different from most people in the group is I know I am a slave but I think freely while the group thinks they are free while being enslaved..." - Tomas Estrada-Palma, IV -

Vecino Alegret is the name of the Cuban torturer, he is now some sort of Education Ministry official in the island. When the day comes look for Vecino Alegret, Sen. McCain can positively identify the asshole.
His days are numbered!!!
His use of the word "gook" and "gooks" is extremely offensive..like saying the N**g word... or worse
Thomas you should know better, you live in civilized world (DC area) not with the savage red necks (miami)
But this I know. However, it is not my responsibility to rewrite and sanitize history. War is ugly. Not showing that would be unfair to those who may have other ideas.
But it is a fair observation to note the use and dehumanizing aspect of slurs. I do apologize for having to leave that in this particular piece and I'm sorry it offended you. If only more people were righteously offended by these things then the world would be a better place now wouldn't it? But hiding these hateful words by not reporting what and how these words were used doesn't make this behavior go away - rather some take the silence as proof that this behavior is acceptable.
Along the same lines at work the other day, I was proofing an ad for some performer who was talking about this song she would perform that was becoming an anthem for women's rights. Then she said the lyrics discussed the use of the "B" word and the "H" word. I figured the "B" word must have been bitch but I couldn't figure out for the life of me what the "H" word was. Huzzy? Harlet? Then it hit me! The advertiser thought "whore" was spelled with an "H."
