Let entrepreneurs into Cuba, keep the tax low and watch the economic explosion happen. Whenever there are more jobs than workers the wages and benefits are driven upward. That's because entrepreneurs compete for a limited supply of workers. Those who lose the competition will not be as successful because they can't grow without more laborers. Finally, the first modern society on the planet will be populated by people who are neither slaves to the pharaohs of industry nor government. Cuban workers will have the best job security in the world!

Hola Tomas, I would be a little afraid because knowing Raul o Fidel Castro, what they would do, after we applied this law, they would tell the people ....that if it doesn't work is because the american are trying to rob the cubans, not because the communist economy is a disaster.

But this will appear ridiculous. We would be saying here are our goods for sale. Here is the bill. Cash only would expose the embargo lie. There is no real embargo. But we need to change the terms of debate to show this. Exposing the regime's inability to trade because they produce no real wealth instead of always hearing that the embargo keeps them poor. Remember, we first insist on terms that Raul will probably reject making him look the obstructionist.
