Thanks Hugo!

Thanks Hugo!

That Hugo…what a guy! He is hoping to get OPEC to cut production to prop up prices for oil. Fortunately, Hugo is stupid as a rock about economics. He can’t see that the recent spike in oil prices has now reduced demand broadly on two fronts. One is consumption of everything has been reduced because things cost more as a result of higher energy prices and people are forced to buy less. They pull back often leading to a recession with closing businesses which causes even more reduction in fuel consumption. Secondly, millions of people like me already took the opportunity during the last spike to get more fuel efficient. My Ford 150 is almost always parked and my diesel I bought second hand for $1,500 gets twice the mileage of the truck! That’s from now on no matter what the price of fuel. So every week now I’m using half the fuel that I used to just like millions of others around the world. My landlord took the opportunity to get us an energy efficient washer/dryer. Now we use less electric too. Adding to Hugo’s snakebite has been the warm eastern weather this year further reducing demand in this oil-burner region. Remember, there’s no money in holding oil. That actually costs money. The only time you can make money is by selling it at market. There’s no money in giving it away to Castro either. The Caracas Rainman doesn’t understand that either.

I don't buy the Cindy argument. Why didn't she denounce Fidel in Cuba? Why didn't she see the political prisoners in Cuba? All her company is anti-American.PLEASE! Didn't buy the divide and conquer argument. The left uses divide and conquer and they could use you if not careful. Just a thought. When Alfredo stated why did she suck up to Hugo? Good question. Maria was right on target. Tomas, Fidel said he wasn't a communist either and we all know that wasnt true LOL JAJAJAJAJA 48 years and still counting.

Signed,

These are all question I would have like to asked but I've decided to not go there because my Cuban friends get real upset. I never want that to happen.

Do what's right. If you were worried about your Cuban friends you wouldn't have had that show. Just a thought. ;)

Tomas, you have the right to do whatever you please. I just dont think anyone believes her and they have good reason not to. They have that right also.

My aim is not to convince Cubans. May aim is to get everyone to denounce Castro so others too ignorant to see the Caribbean Genocide right in front of their closed eyes will not get the idea that Fidel is some sort of a swell guy or something.

Another unforeseen benefit of this Cindy Sheehan thing has been to focus the anger of Cuban exiles and causing many to call-in to radio and tv stations as well as write letters about their rage. It is bringing Cuba to the forefront where it should be. Now that the regime is reeling don't stop now! Attack them everyday. Everyone must contact the media everyday to keep this on the front burner while the dog is dying and getting camera time in Havana. We must remind everybody while the talking heads are commenting on his death that it's a good thing since he killed so many Cubans!
