Removing Rights
That is one proposal from the politicos that just drives me berserk every time I hear McCain or one of the other American Soviet Congressmen or Senators utter such nonsense. It should do likewise to any American who claims that they believe in the creator. But no such luck apparently. I see so-called God fearing Americans nodding approval whenever one of these grandstanding politicians starts mouthing off about removing right from terrorist suspects. I've heard some even calling for all Muslims in America to be forced to wear a marker like the Jews had to wear a Star of David in Nazi Germany.
Just going to church is not going to save those who cross the creator or accept the just mentioned tyranny. Why? Well let Tomas give you all a bit of a reminder. We were ALL born with certain inalienable right granted to us by the CREATOR. Among those rights are the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. This topic was settled hundreds of years ago. The rights every human was born with cannot be taken away without due process of law. In other words, everybody gets to engage in living their life, doing what pleases them until such time as they have infringed on another to do likewise. This is called committing a "crime." The "alleged" accused individual then must be brought before a jury of their peers and have the evidence against them presented to this jury. Only after twelve jurors agree that the defendant has indeed committed crimes is the accused found the guilty. Then the accused can have some or all of their rights taken away as prescribed under the law as long as the punishment is not cruel or unusual.
But these vile, disgusting scum on the Hill like Joe Lieberman can't open their mouth these days without piping up about removing rights from terrorist suspects. Well I have some questions about those political powers. If they can remove rights doesn't that make them god? Will they possess other god-like powers? Do we have to worship them from now on? They sure act like it. Will we be allowed to say their names in vain? Can they kill or imprison any of us if they alone deem it just or appropriate? Can they destroy our property or take it for their godly purposes?
Having one God to deal with is a big enough responsibility. But at least this God appears just and consistent. This God already own the universe and doesn't possess the frailties every human is infected with. So for Tomas, I'll take my chances with this God. They rest of you can do as you like. If you let the little Lieberman's of the world take away rights then you have made your choice. You now recognize Joe and his gang as the new Gods and you must accept their rulings on your life, liberty as well as to be content in making them happy. You must be the image of your new creators.
You reap what you sow. Life takes from the takers and gives to the givers. If you accept rights being taken away by men without due process of law then you must accept your rights being taken away as well. It is what happens to sniveling cowards who would accept such an abomination.
