Let entrepreneurs into Cuba, keep the tax low and watch the economic explosion happen. Whenever there are more jobs than workers the wages and benefits are driven upward. That's because entrepreneurs compete for a limited supply of workers. Those who lose the competition will not be as successful because they can't grow without more laborers. Finally, the first modern society on the planet will be populated by people who are neither slaves to the pharaohs of industry nor government. Cuban workers will have the best job security in the world!

José Oscar Sánchez Madan, 44 years of age, is in the 8th day of his hunger strike in prison where he is a prisoner for illegal thought possession. In Cuba you can be jailed for "Dangerousness." You are guilty of looking like you might commit a crime any time now so they just throw you in the dungeon to cut out the judge, jury and other middlemen.

Jailed Cuban activists Dr. Jose Luis Garcia Paneque and Tony Diaz are
dangerously ill and are not receiving vital medical treatment, according
to their family members.
Dr. Garcia Paneque was healthy when arrested in 2003 but now suffers
from malabsorption syndrome and has lost nearly half of his body weight.
His health has deteriorated rapidly over the past several weeks. Tony
Diaz has been diagnosed with a tumor in his prostate and ulcerative
colitis in his colon. Despite repeated requests for medical attention, both
men continue to be held untreated in prison.
Join us in urging Cuban authorities to immediately and unconditionally
release Dr. Jose Luis Garcia Paneque and Tony Diaz and to provide them
with the necessary medical treatment as long as they remain in
detention.

URGENT FROM HAVANA : OSWALDO PAYA DENOUNCES THE HORRID ATTACK AGAINST
ROLANDO JIMENEZ POSADA IN GUAYABO PRISON ON THE ISLE OF YOUTH
HAVANA, January 2008-(Oswaldo Payá, MCL/Puenteinfocubamiami.org)-
Cuban political prisoner and prisoner of conscience, Rolando Jiménez
Posada, was vilely physically assaulted by a mob of highly dangerous
common prisoners, when he was transferred from his solitary confinement
cell to another cell he shares with common prisoners on December 31. As
previously reported on this incident in a previous statement, this
attack was the result of Rolando's response to the journalist Lázaro
Barreto with regards to defamatory comments this so-called journalist had
issued against Rolando in a "roundtable" program.
As a result of this inhumane beating, Rolando's face is disfigured and
he has lost almost all vision from one of his eyes, according to his
wife Lamasiel Gutiérrez Romero, an independent journalist.
Rolando is imprisoned with a 12 year sentence in Guayabo Prison, on the
Isle of Youth. He was a Cuban intelligence deputy and a prosecutor
against narco-trafficking crimes in his province and was discharged from
his position when he became a Varela Project organizer. Many of the
highly dangerous common prisoners in the prison cell that he was
transferred to were indicted by Rolando during his incumbency as a prosecutor.
This attack, as well as the one reported by us earlier against Antonio
(Tony) Díaz Sánchez, must be responded to with urgency by the
international community, Human Rights institutions, and government authorities
in countries that are in solidarity with defending the Cuban people. A
whole series of attacks against political prisoners is unfolding as
the people are beginning to increase their call for change while the
regime's officials do not want to respond adequately to these calls.

By the way the Cuba hits are most likely official Castro government hits. I get many more hits secretly from Cuba that show up as USA hits.
