The Miami Herald wins!

The Miami Herald recently won the contest of the newspaper that lost the most circulation in competing against other mostly liberal newspapers across the nation. A report by "Editor & Publisher" indicates that:

"Losses at the Miami Herald were steep. Daily circulation fell 8.8% to 265,583 and Sunday fell 9.1% to 361,846."

It is obvious that the protest of the Cuban exile community against the racist remarks of Herald editor Tom Fiedler had its effects.

This should be a wakeup call to the McClatchy Company, who recently bought the Herald, of how the newspaper does not represent the interests of a large section of the community. Most of the Herald employees do not even live in Miami-Dade, but rather in neighboring Broward County.
