The Marijuana Boogie Man

The number one tactic in which the rulers get their way in modern America and the world is to control information. They use this control to whip up a number of boogie men to scare the people, who act more and more like a herd of sheep every day. A great example is the marijuana boogie man.

For an inanimate object that has never actually caused a death in the past 5000 years that humans have been known to use it, marijuana is actually classified as a dangerous substance. Humans smoke the stuff for decades but the government that labels this plant as dangerous cannot even tell who's smoking it unless they eves drop on all of us, open our mail, frisk us down at checkpoints, peek at our banking record, crash into a number of our homes with guns like a band of Nazis looking for it, etc. It seems apparent to me that by definition, something that is dangerous should also be obvious leading to something like say - dead bodies or long lines at the hospital. However none of this occurs with marijuana usage. Oh sure they come up with nonsense like the gateway theory but this is simplistic thinking that says if one thing came before another then it was the first thing that led to the second thing. This thinking would lead to the banning of breast feeding because it came first.

So why is marijuana illegal? For the most part it is economic. What the big fat hand of government has done with respect to marijuana is create winners and losers. First the government actually used racist propaganda to be the boogie man of that era. What was terrifying middle class white America in the 1930's was not having a job and black people having equal rights. Because marijuana was then mostly smoked by blacks and Hispanics it became the perfect substance to demonize to subjugate them. If you look in the Congressional record back then they warn of black men smoking marijuana followed by immediate uncontrolled urges to have sex with white woman and or to become violent. Lots of people smoke marijuana. Has anyone ever seen this occur after anyone smokes marijuana?

By the 40's and 50's it was the Reds that were the boogie men. Now these same people in charge who just earlier outlawed smoking marijuana because they said it made you violent, asserted it now made you too passive and peaceful. This would not be helpful to the defense of the nation against the commies.

The fact is I could go on forever giving you the litany of lame duck reasons the top scum have given through the decades to keep marijuana illegal. But here are the real reasons. It started out a great way to re-enslave black people after the civil war. It removed superior products from the marketplace and kept them from competing with more expensive, hazardous things like petrol chemical fibers, fertilizers, cotton, cigarettes, booze, pharmaceuticals and billions in other products that benefit from prohibition.

However, today the main reason pot is illegal is the multi-billion dollar enforcement industry that has mutated into the monstrosity that it is today. The old economic benefactors like the tobacco industry and DuPont just go along now for the free ride. However the enforcement elite likes being in charge and they like being well paid. When marijuana is finally re-legalized hundreds of thousands of the enforcement elite to perhaps several million will be unemployed. The fact is they are being fired right now due to the economy with more to follow. In addition, when Americans see that society actually gets more peaceful and prosperous once prohibition has been lifted, the credibility of these prohibitionist elite will be shot to hell - about a lot of things. This must be stopped at all cost - at least from the elite's perspective.

The legalization movement is moving forward so fast that the only thing which might derail it is if the prohibitions in charge can connect a big terrorist incident with marijuana. That will be difficult especially since millions of Americans are finally onto the scams being used to frighten us into submission. Also, the state governments have been abandoned by the federal tit and find themselves desperate for funding as well as ways to cut costs. Enter marijuana to save their butts. It will immediately raise billions in tax revenue from sales and income tax. It will slash prison, police and court costs. With these unnecessary burdens removed from authorities they might go about doing the jobs they were originally hired for - protecting people and property rather than social engineering.

For me the best aspect of abolishing marijuana prohibition will be ceding just a bit of ownership of my body back to the rightful owner - me! Then the prohibitionist elite can bugger off, get a haircut and get a real job.

Valid medicinal value, it’s a victimless crime, the War on Drugs WAY too costly, too many arrests for simple possession, tax it and use the money to pay for health insurance and to reduce the deficit…Need I say more?
