All of the neocon presidential candidates are scary. But Rudy Guilliani is really so.

He's one of the neocon, nation building (except our nation), big spy government presidential candidates. He says Muslims hate us because we are so darn free and rich. Somebody should tell Rudy that the rest of us aren't very free and we sure ain't rich. They hate us because we occupy their land with our military. Remember this jihad crap never effected America until we started putting combat boots on the ground in the middle East. Somebody tell Rudy please.

Tomas,
I read the debate about Ron Paul's positions on Tellechea's RCAB a few days ago. Then out of curiosity I watched the South Carolina Republican debate where Ron Paul was a participant. I tell you that the one that scares the living daylights out of me if he ever became President, was Ron Paul. His isolisionist stance and let's retreat from the world and "let everyone take care of themselves because with us they have no incentive to fix things" is straight out of the 1930's ostrich attitude towards Hitler, and we know now after 50 million dead as a result of that policy where that lead us 60 or some more years ago. His positions were very scary to me. After reading some of your very intelligent comments on other subjects, I am amazed that you still cheer for this guy and believe in him. But, is a democracy and we can still cheer for whom we like. Is our right.

Thanks for the comment Augustine. Whether or not we should have our troops occupying other countries around the world is not the main trouble, though in itself I believe it is not a wise thing. But the thing that many do not realize yet but all will come to know very soon is we cannot pay to sustain our empire. Please cut you debt and be very careful with money. Our economy is due to take a big tumble as a result of the neocons' multi trillion dollar foreign adventures. They have printed enormous quantities of fiat money to pay these expenses which is the real reason things like gas and housing have skyrocketed.

Augustine, before you blindly trust these neocons look at the Ottoman Empire and their hold on the middle east region we now occupy. Look what happen to them especially how they in the end stages also printed too much money. Then their economy and empire collapsed. My friend I am telling you the truth while the neocons lie about almost everything. In the near future it will be obvious the Tomas Estrada-Palma and Ron Paul have been telling you the truth while the neocons have lied to you. I will not tell you what you want to hear before telling you the truth. The truth is too important.

So I will stick by my guns and support Ron Paul, the U.S. Constitution and a return to a legal government. As for being isolationist we are not. We want to trade and talk with all nations. As for our over extended military, we can remove them now from occupation, or in a year or so after our economy crumbles because we cannot pay the bill.

But you should know:

We are borrowing billions from the Chinese to fund our wars.

Ron Paul gets more contributions from active duty servicemen than ALL other candidates by a wide margin. Why?

He is pro life and will get the federal government out of abortions.

All these things which concern people were until very recently a big part of the Republican platform.

There is many more things Americans need to know but the media has done about the same informing us about them as they have done telling the truth about Cuba.

But at the end of the day who are you going to believe, the main stream media - or me?

I have never lied to you. The media? You know the answer to that question.

Tomas,
thank you for the aclaration and the information.
My problem with Mr. Paul aroused when he mentioned to abandon Israel and bring all troops from the Middle East. I certainly do not want to fight these islamo-fascists bozos in New York or Minnesota! We may need to be more selective where do we engage our troops, but we cannot and must not abandon wholesale our friends and allies. Look what happened when Carter abandon the Shah. We wound up with Khomeini and of the two, I take the Shah Pazlevi anyday.
Abandoning Israel will send the wrong message to those voltures waiting in the wings in that tough neighborhood for such a thing to happen.
And South Korea? Do we leave the South Koreans to the evil designs of the Kim communist dynasty there?
I don't have any problem with ending our fiscal predicament and putting our house in order. But abandoning our allies to their own fate without dong anything about it, just because we want to save money in our budget is not the answer. When you see thy neighbours beard on fire, you better soak yours, says the old saying. I am not of the belief that muslims hate us because we occupy their territory. They claim for Islam El Andalus, Spain's southern area, and Spain does not have any troops or bases in the Middle East. To them is all part of the old Isalm and so they want it back. Is a matter of faith for them. Either you convert or face punishment. I happen to take objection as a Catholic to that position. You are free to believe what you want, but so do I. Don't try to impose your religious belief on me.
They seem to take offense to that. Well, tough cucarachas!
So far as I see, no one in Europe seems to be taking this menace seriously and they are acting like ostriches thinking that if they ignore it, it will go away. It won't. These folks are pretty determined to win these religious war with us.
From where I stand, we in the West did not declared war on Islam. Jihad is their term, not ours. I could not care less what Mohammed said or did, so long as they don't try to impose their religion or politics on me.
I think the strategy for Irak is wrong. We should have gotten out of there when the fighting was done and let the Iraquis take care of their country. As it is, we are now involdve in a never ending war that like McCain said in the Republican debate, may last many, many years. This type of thinking is insane and if continued, would bankrupt our economy. And for what?
I don't know much about Ron Paul but will try to foind as much to read about him as I can. Maybe I can be more informed the next time I post. I will like to thank you for your civility and your kindness in your response.

Mr. Farinas I would like to thank you sir. I appreciate your dignity, fair mindedness and willingness to discuss these issues calmly and rationally.

Israel will kick any of its neighbors' butt anytime they feel threatened as they they should do. But we could help them by stopping all foreign aid payments to everybody. That's because we give the Arabs 3 times as much money as we do Israel. So fiscally speaking the Israelis would be 3 times better off if we kept our money here fixing our infrastructure. I bet the families of those folks who recently die in the Minn. bridge collapse agree with me. And lord help Iran if they get close to developing a nuke with that bad attitude. The Israelis will make quick work of it like they did with Saddam's nuclear reactor. Ron Paul supported that strike when many others condemned Israel. Plus under Ron Paul's Constitutional government you would be able to keep all your income and giving any portion of it to Israel for any reason is your business. In addition any American would be free to go to Israel and fight the Arabs then return here as legal law abiding citizens. The Neutrality Act is unconstitutional and would not be enforcible by President Paul. Under this Constitutional U.S. Government Israel would be much safer.

Again thanks for the nice dialog.
